Rubbish in, rubbish out

Hey! take this lesson
RUBBISH IN, RUBBISH OUT!

********
He did something
that my friend didn't like

My friend told me
that she didn't like his doing

Listened to bad thing about him
I developed bad perception of him

********
I was sitting with my group, discussing about lab practices
He was there, coming towards us
With the bad perception of him, I suddenly felt uneasy
"Oh no! he is coming" I said half shouting
Causing all attention deviated from book to him
Changing the topic of discussion from genetics to him

He just want to take his bag as he put it on the table near us
then he went away
but the bad story of him spread all over again..

********
My mistakes! Big mistakes!

Listen to bad thing
Have bad perception of people that did nothing wrong to me
Spread the bad story of him to more people

Now people not only have bad perception of him
but the worst is that they have bad perception of Dai'e too!

********
Hey! take this lesson
RUBBISH IN, RUBBISH OUT!

Satu Cinta

ku memohon
dalam sujudku pada-Mu
Ampunkanlah
segala dosa dalam diri
ku percaya
Engkau bisa meneguhkan
Pendirianku... Keimananku

ku memohon
dalam sujudku pada-Mu
Ampunkanlah
segala dosa dalam diri
ku percaya
Engkau bisa meneguhkan
Pendirianku... Keimananku

Engkau
Satu cinta
yang selamanya aku cari
Tiada waktuku tinggalkan
demi cintaku kepada-Mu

Walau seribu rintangan
kan menghadang dalam diri
ku teguhkan hati ini
hanya pada-Mu
ku pasrahkan

Engkau
Satu cinta
yang selamanya aku cari
Tiada waktuku tinggalkan
demi cintaku kepada-Mu

Walau seribu rintangan
kan menghadang dalam diri
ku teguhkan hati ini
hanya pada-Mu
ku pasrahkan

Oh tuhan
Selamatkanlah hamba ini
dari segala fatamorgana dunia

Oh tuhan
Jauhkanlah hamba ini
dari hidup yang sia-sia

Kau
Satu cinta
yang selamanya aku cari
Tiada waktuku tinggalkan
demi cintaku kepada-Mu

Walau seribu rintangan
kan menghadang dalam diri
ku teguhkan hati ini
hanya pada-Mu

Engkau
Satu cinta
yang selamanya aku cari
Tiada waktuku tinggalkan
demi cintaku kepada-Mu

Walau seribu rintangan
kan menghadang dalam diri
ku teguhkan hati ini
hanya pada-Mu

Kau
Satu cinta
yang selamanya aku cari
Tiada waktuku tinggalkan
demi cintaku kepada-Mu

Walau seribu rintangan
kan menghadang dalam diri
ku teguhkan hati ini
hanya pada-Mu
hanya pada-Mu

My current status: Crazy with love.. in dakwah, Rasulullah, and Allah. All of these are one love.. love in Allah!

Pi mai pi mai tang tu!

Alhamdulillah.. I finally have time to update this blog =)

One week have been past after Monash opened again. For this semester, one of my core subject is Laboratory and Workplace Management (SCI3716). The subject's name sounds bored right? Well, I like the lecturer for this subject, Prof Chow, because he is a great scientist with a lot of experience and scientific knowledge loaded in his brain. So, his one hour lecture was actually full with sharing of his experience and knowledge while went through all the lecture slides.
But, many of my friends do not like him.. mainly because his tone during lecturing was not attracting people to listen at all.

Anyway, the first topic in this subject is about Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). Under this topic we learned that there are so many acts, regulations, codes and standards have been created to protect people from any hazards that potentially encountered. Moreover, under OHS, everyone has duty of care on everyone else around him/her.

However, all of these are not the promising to a decrease number of accidents or dangerous occurrences unless we put an enforcement on people to force them to follow the rules that have been setting up to protect them. Like in Europe, camera were placed on satellite in outer space to observe people on road and once people break the road rules, they are definitely able to be caught by the policeman. Malaysia do not have this kind of enforcement and this might be one reason why we have a numerous number of accident occur everyday.

Argghh!! so complicated isn't it? Need to think how to avoid potential dangerous and then after you have listed a number of precautions steps, you need to think how to make people follow the steps to avoid the potential dangerous! It is just like "pi mai pi mai tang tu"!

I just think if we apply islam fully in our life, we do not have to encounter all sort of problems like these. This is because Allah already asked us to care about others, to avoid ourselves from any potential hazards, to follow the instructions from our leader as long as his commands are not against Allah's rules. So, everything in OHS have been completely cover in islam, am I right?

p/s: Dai'e is the most caring person. They try hard to protect us from the most dangerous thing that waiting for us in akhirah!

A request

New semester begins today and so I start to attend my lecture as scheduled. My first and the only lecture for today was at noon just now. As a routine in student's life, I attended it without any feeling, neither excited to start my last semester in Monash nor sad as my long holiday has ended.

But, after a while listening to the lecture, the lecturer said ".. in this subject, you will learn about the application of biotechnology..". I suddenly felt excited to go through this subject. May be because I hate to just learning theories and then don't know when and how to use them in real life. I just hate the fact that I just  need to pick all the theories given during lectures and then put them back on my assignment and exam sheets to pass the subject. What I want is to apply what I know so that I know what I know!

I know the laboratory sessions that I have for almost all of my subjects were created for student to apply the theories they learn in class. But I just found that this system didn't work well for myself. Maybe because in laboratory, every sources are limited so that we cannot make any mistake. This give me pressure because as someone who just learn about the thing, of course making mistake is normal. The pressure prevents me to relate what I did in lab with those theories in class. Even though after a mistake, that is not the end of your life as you can explain  the mistake in your report and there is where you learn both theory and reality. But, I think it is better if we have the chance to repeat again. I think I will learn more this way. To make thing worse, there are always a lot theory that were not covered during the lab session. Huh!

However, I know there are so many obstacles to make a system that fit with everyone. Even the lecturer I mentioned also said that the students will do a project where one mistake will cause everything goes wrong. Well, human-created system always has so many flaws.. especially when the system was created without basing on Al-Quran and As-Sunnah. Now I wonder how was the education system during Abbasiyah period, a period when there were so many amazingly excellent, educated and talented people were produced.
