The changes we need

Since small
I have been taught
about DOs and DONTs

By time
I know more about islam
and understand better
some of the DOs and DONTs
have to be changed
to suit my understanding

It is really hard
to turn DOs to be DONTs
and DONTs to be DOs

Al-Baqarah, 2: 143
And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you. And We did not make the qiblah which you used to face except that We might make evident who would follow the Messenger from who would turn back on his heels. And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided. And never would Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful.

Tafsir al-Jalalayn
... and We did not appoint, make, the direction, for you now, the direction, you were facing, that is the Ka‘ba: the Prophet (s) used to face it in prayer, but when he emigrated he was commanded to face the Holy House [of Jerusalem], in order to win the hearts of the Jews. He prayed in this direction for sixteen or seventeen months before he changed direction; except that We might know, [that it become] manifest knowledge, who followed the Messenger, and believed in him, from him who turned on his heels, and returned to unbelief doubting the religion and thinking that the Prophet (s) was confused about this issue; and a number of them apostatised as a result of this— though it, the change of direction, were (wa-in, ‘though’, is softened, and its noun apocopated, originally being: wa-innahā) a grave thing, troublesome for people, save for those, of them, whom God has guided; but God would never cause your faith, that is, your prayers towards the Holy House [of Jerusalem], to be wasted, but He will reward you for them (the reason that this [verse] was revealed was that some had asked about the status of those that had died before the change of direction [of prayer]); truly, God is Gentle with, believing, people, Merciful, when He does not let their deeds go to waste (al-ra’fa means ‘intensity of mercy’, and is mentioned first to allow for the end rhyme of the verse [with the preceding one]).

Al-Baqarah, 2: 216
Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.

So strong!

She came last night
to lead the sitting we had planned
with a pale face

But still
she lead the sitting like always
full with knowledge, sharing
love, smile and laughter
for hours

Once the sitting ends
she had to drive
to go home

She was so strong!
May Allah reward you with jannah.. ameen.

Did I love you?

I recite salawat
when performing prayer
and making dua
and no more

I recite salawat
without love
even though I should love you the most
more than anyone else

I recite salawat
without realizing that I owe you so much
to have islam today

I recite salawat
without really knowing who are you
even though you have the first priority
to be known by me

Not knowing who are you
I can't love you as much as I should
I can't appreciate you as much as you deserve

To know, love, and appreciate you as I should
not enough to only know your history
but I need to follow your sunnah as well
and the biggest sunnah of yours

p/s: 12 rabiul awwal will come again on 26 Feb this year. Lets top up our love to our prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wassalam.

The end

Saturday, 30th January 2010, 12.30 pm..
I was with Atiqah, stood up near to BSN atm in Sunway Pyramid withdrawing money.
We were going to do shopping!
I was so happy and excited, because I have suffered for a week due to lack of stuff at home. Plus, hanging out with friend is just something that I love to do.
Then I just felt like to check my phone.. O, I've got two new text messages.
One from Auni. Another from Suekecik.
Same information.
"Acapkali dh xde.alfatihah"
I was shock. Atiqah too.

He was not a friend that close to me.
I even can't be sure whether or not we have talked to each other.
But still the message was enough to get rid the mood to shop.
It is just unbelievable.
He died at a very young age. And he even 1 year younger than me.
But that is the fact.
Allah just used an extremely small organism, a bacterium, to be the reason of his death. He was infected by a spirochaete bacterium called leptospira spp. that destroyed his body and finally killed him in just about a week.

They said young people are strong.
They said humankind are the greatest creation.
But indeed, we are so weak in front of our god, Allah.
We can't go against Allah's will.
We can't resist our fate.
We can't escape from death.

The breath that I still have now, I never know when it will stop.
What I know is that Allah still give me time.
Time to choose between two ways of life.
One is headed to the heaven and another one to the hell
And Allah have described about both ways
clear and complete
in Al-Quran and As-Sunnah

The breath that I still have now, I never know when it will stop.
What I know is that it will be at anytime.
Thus, I should not waste anymore time
So that I won't regret it later
When Allah show me the record of my deeds

AL-HAQQAH, 69: 18-31
That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed.
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: On that day you will be exposed, before the Reckoning. No hidden thing of yours, in the way of secrets, will remain hidden.
So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record!
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: As for him who is given his book in his right hand, he will say, addressing those around him, on account of the joy that has come to him: ‘Here, take [and], read my book!.
Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account."
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: I was truly certain that I would encounter my account’.
So he will be in a pleasant life
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: So he will enjoy a pleasant living,
In an elevated garden,
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: in a lofty Garden,
Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near.
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: whose clusters, whose fruits, are in easy reach, nearby, reached [easily] by one who may be standing, or sitting or reclining.
[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past."
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: And so it will be said to them: ‘Eat and drink in enjoyment (hanī’an is a circumstantial qualifier, that is to say, mutahanni’īna, ‘while you are enjoying [them]’) for what you did in advance in former days’, [in days] that have passed during the [life of the] world.
But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: But as for him who is given his book in his left hand, he will say, ‘O (yā is for calling attention [to something]) would that I had not been given my book,
And had not known what is my account.
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: and not known what my account were!
I wish my death had been the decisive one.
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: O would that it, namely, death in [the life of] this world, had been the [final] end, that had terminated my life, so that I am not resurrected.
My wealth has not availed me.
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: My wealth has not availed me.
Gone from me is my authority."
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: My authority, my strength, my argument, has gone from me’.
[ Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him.
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: ‘Seize him — addressing the keepers of Hell — then fetter him, bind his hands to his necks in fetters,

Then into Hellfire drive him.
Tafsir al-Jalalayn:
then admit him into Hell-fire, into the scorching Fire,
Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him."
Tafsir al-Jalalayn: then in a chain whose length is seventy cubits — [each cubit being] that of an angel’s forearm — insert him, after admitting him into the Fire (the fā’ [of fa’slukūhu] does not prevent the verb from being semantically connected to the preceding adverbial clause).
